I'm not a boat, I've just bought two sets from these folks and am very happy. It's less that 50 bucks for a pair! Nice sharp cutoff to the beam. Have them on Jamie's Miata for a while now and they are holding up great. Just got them for mine. They don't include bulbs but I think it was about 7 bucks for a pair. Might upgrade at later point to higher watt bulbs, but for now I'm very happy.
Just a recommendation, no affiliation!

What folks? I don't see a link. My 2002 could use a new set of H4s.

I'd like to do something like that with my Mazda beater. The headlights suck.
Are the Bosch lights really bright? I want to be able to use them without blinding people.
Are they 7" or 5 1/4"?
I love H4s, at least until LEDs come down in price.
Oops! Crap! Here is the link!

They are very bright and clear.
And yes, 7 inch.

I was excited and hoping they would have the square ones for now that price too. But then I was sad when they didnt.

I bought the same ones three years ago for my Miata, and couldn't remember where I got them when asked a few days ago by a coworker. Seeing the website, that was were I got them. Been great so far, no issues in 30k miles
Awesome. My wife's have been installed all summer with no issues.

Steve, are your binder's headlights 7" round?
I had a set on the fiat once. Great lights. It is a shame that the US gets such crummy nasty headlight patterns
FYI - we used to sell those same lights. There was a killer deal on them by the pallet load from a particular warehouse. I'm almost positive the Bus Depot has the same source based on their pricing.
The warehouse is now out of these lights. We can't get more. Bus Depot may suffer the same fate. So don't delay if you're thinking about it.
Good lights, great price.
Any idea if these would fit a very old 911?

They'll fit anything that uses a 7" round halogen. That's pretty much anything with single round headlights pre-90's, I think. I've got them on three Miatas, a VW Vanagon, an old Land Rover, a classic Mini and an MGB

That's how I ended up with these... I checked flyinmiata, but no luck. Did some searching and came across these. I just ordered my second set last Friday, so as of right now they are still in stock. Quick shipping as well, they arrived Wednesday.

You guys must be young. We used to put these in all our cars 40 years ago. What's really silly is that they still produce better light patterns than most current lighting technology. Maybe a standard for light shapes wasn't such a bad idea, although these were illegal back then (not sealed beams). Just remember, they have glass lenses, not polycarbonate and will break easier if you catch a rock.
I have a set of Cibie H4's in the Jensen, I used relays to bump up the power to them and use 80/90W bulbs in place of the 55/65W bulbs that are standard. Nice stuff, they really light up a dark road.
At various times I've used Cibie, Carello, Hella or Bosch halogens. Any of them is a decent choice for older vehicles that used the standard sized round or rectangular lights. I'll second Curmudgeon's use of relays and higher wattage bulbs.
Is the glass lens flat or curved?

Flat. I got a set for my 924s from flying miata more than a year ago and even with the stansard bulb and the standard Porsche wiring they are a 10x improvement over standard units.

Are they nla from the mfgr or is it just a supply issue. I would considder getting a spair set if getting them in the future is going to be an issue.
I have them on the International, F700, RX5.0, Ranchero (5.25), S10 (4x6) and every street car I have ever had that fit them.
They are awesome, so much more light, with the relay and bulb swap even more is available as stated
