So for me that would be the '85 325e with rust and a bad clutch.

I don't know how many folks on this side of the border get this one, but I do because I have one!

I did want "NOTATA" (read - not a T/A )on my camaro because everyone thought it was a trans am. Other than that, I wouldn't want one.vanity plates make it easier for the cops to find you.

MULLIT played off the movie BULLIT is cool. I'd do something like that.

plates on my Mercury...the fail boat. The registration has the plate # and plate type (boat) next to eachother so it actually says FA1L BOAT on the registration. haha.

My Accent that I autocross now has "OMG GRIP" on the plates. Perhaps a little optimistic. I am thinking about changing them for something else.

My friend's 350Z has "THS IS EZ"

I agree Virginia being the land of the vanity plates. For only $10 a year how could you resist. They even prorate the fee based on when your registration is due......I paid $4 for my last set of plates.

WOW, MA really really sucks. vanity plates cost something like 60 or 70 bucks every 2 years but the worst part are the restrictions on what you can actually get.

stupid mass rmv site said: Vanity plates can be ordered for private passenger, commercial, motorcycle, livery, bus, camper or antique vehicles. All vanity plates must begin with two letters. The plate can be no more than six characters, or a maximum of five characters for motorcycle plates. Vanity plates cannot have letters and numbers intermixed. For example: "MY65MG."

I have my old Miata plate CH1CANE on my new to me 2000 Maxima. It just doesn't make sense now. At least I didn't transfer it to the new Odyssey we just bought for my wife. That would really be out of place.

I got it because purists would start harassing me about ruining a 70 TA and I'd have to explain it was an Esprit in disguise. Moved and just got regular plates so I'm back to explaining.

Ahhhh, thanks. I am not up on my texting or slang or whatever.

In PA a vanity plate is one time $30, so I have had a few. You used to have to give your plate number when you checked into a hotel, and as a traveling salesman, it was easier to remember a vanity plate than random numbers.

That is one NASTY looking PONTIAC One of the few cars I've seen where side pipes improved the look. What make of tires are those? And, yes, I realize it's really a Saturn.

there used to be a 350Z in my neighborhood that said "10TILL4". I found it very amusing. Now he has a 370, and the plates are the same...not as funny.

Thanks! Tires in the pic are Yokohama 275/315 17" AO32's. I'm moving up to 285/295 18's to clear the new 14" Baer brakes and installing Rushforth wheels with the newer model Yokohama AO48. They're DOT R track day tires.
