This reminds me of a joke that I have been telling for 14yrs now.

Everyone wants a smaller phone...
Guy walks into an office and sees someone with their thumb to their ear and pinky finger over mouth; the typical "on the phone" symbol. The difference is that this person is actually on the phone by just holding their hand to their ear/mouth.
Another person in the office has their hand over their eye and thumb on ear. This person is on the internet.
The office visitor inquires and is told, "we all had the chip put into our neck so that all you have to do is hand to ear/mouth for on the phone and ear/eye for internet." The visitor is amazed by this and a little jealous.
The visitor then sees another office person in the corner in the "bear in the woods" position. Startled the visitor asks, "whats going on their?" The answers is. "that's Johnson, he's got a fax coming in!"

At least my wife would appear to be paying attention to me when she's playing with her iPhone

Kind of cool in a geeky kind of way. It would be cool to play with for a few days, but day to day would be too much.

I kinda think it's awesome. Can you say Forza style acceleration, braking and best line overlay for the race track? I'm thinking the glasses need it ASAP.

Could also use them Terminator style to make up for my goldfish memory and remember everyone's name at a party!

Why did they make such an awesomely cyberpunk thing as a wearable HUD look like a unibrow & a pair of nerd glasses? Cyberpunk technology should always be dangerously dead sexy. I know Google know this, so there's no excuse for them getting it wrong.

Could be fun with custom software but there's no way I'm running Google's software on that. They get plenty enough info on me already.

Are you kidding? Monolithic, omniscient megacorps are totally cyberpunk. It's appropriate.
