Grainy road pic. Help me identify this exotic.

My trucker buddy sent me this pic snapped on the freeway. There's a white something or other in front of the Ferrari. I stopped following exotic cars (also regular cars) decades ago and couldn't begin to identify it. Does anyone else recognize this thing?

The white car doesn't look Ferrari to me. McLaren maybe, but I can't name the model, probably something alphanumeric. The huge rear 3/4 vents are somewhat reminiscent of the Lexus LFA, but aren't the right shape, and the spoiler is a bit more showy than the LFA. The overall shape is too rounded for a Lambo, so I'm sticking with McLaren.

Thanks. You're probably right. My friend thinks he saw a McLaren nameplate, and if it is, an alphanumeric model designation is probably a pretty safe bet.

Just did some quick image searching for McLarens and for some reason I'm not seeing anything that really looks like this.

Somebody will recognize this thing.

McLaren 650s spyder? I know they have a few different rear bumpers, like if it's some other alphabet config like the mp 12c or whatever...

Let's see what google lens says.

EDIT: and nothing good. I also searched "Supercar rearends" and "super car tail lights" to no avail. It clearly is not a super car.

That's ... that's a lot of lines. An unmodified MP4-12C looks positively tidy in comparison. Not that I'll ever be inside restraining order distance of either, but my preference would be for the original.

At least it actually appears from the quarter shot that those big vents in the body actually ARE vents instead of just fake busyness.
