But yeah, i thought about it. We'll see what I come up with.

We heat our house most of the winter with our Jotul wood stove and my biggest mistake the first year was emptying out the ash layer. Let it build up a couple inches think and leave it. 

 

If you could disassemble it and put it in a large tupperware container with a couple gallons of evaporust it should bring it back  90% of the way. Drain the evaporust  through a coffee filter and reuse it for another project.
