Harley trying to figure out WTF Theo is.
Did a studio shoot this past weekend. The theme was sparkles. This is Miss Kookie Munster.
Shot at Silver Springs, some light photoshop work to make the bird pop a little more from the background.
A behind-the-scenes shot from Sunday. This is right out of the camera. This is Nicole.
This was shot while playing with my phone on the 8th of July. The locals had invited us over to their annual cookout and fireworks show. People in the back woods are NC are a lot nicer toward transplants than I expected them to be.
I just got the iPhone 14 pro and I am not sure why I waited so long to make the jump to the Pro line since I use my phone so much as a camera. I am already really impressed with the image quality. This was shot with the 3x lens.
Another behind-the-scenes shot from Sunday. That’s Hannah.
Saw this while at the camera store this weekend. I had one very similar BITD. Same model? I can’t exactly recall, to be honest.
There's been a turf war going on among the male doves in our neighborhood (imagine that!) since this poor guy's mate was killed by a hawk back in May. (I witnessed it). Anyway, he's a lover and not a fighter. I've seen other male doves with mates try to drive him away. Maybe he has more skill as a lover. Maybe the female doves appreciate his skills. Their mates don't like it. He persists. And he looks pretty regal up there. And he's still looking for a mate.
(Night flight to Europe in the sky behind him is a bonus).
My friend Bette photographed at Secret Art Studios in St. Cloud, Florida.
Took this tonight while resting between physical therapy exercises on my porch. I continue to be impressed by the Pentax M 75-150 f4 zoom either with or without an extension tube (this was taken with a deglassed teleconverter which I use as an extension tube for close-ups).
Mild crop and some lighting tweaks in Lightroom.
Was heading out to dinner and dance class when the kids pointed this guy out. Had to go pop back in the house to grab the camera. Would have preferred the 100-400, but I didn't want to risk losing the shot so we went with the 24-240.
