Recently picked up a 'real' macro lens for my camera after a few years of using extension tubes. I think this has been my favorite shot with that lens so far.

I liked the way this one turned out as well. Shot with a Note II.

Nice shot. I so prefer the look of film to digital.

The GSN has a great lens, as your picture shows; the rest of the camera is a bit mediocre IMHO (I have one), and I do not like being forced into aperture priority. Great for a loaner, though, or to use at parties or in sketchy areas.

I love film, but hate integrating it in to a digital workflow. I'll get a good scanner eventually for my medium format work, but for now film (35mm at least) is for fun and snapshots.

The Yashica is great for kayaking because I don't care if it goes for a swim since it was cheap and easily replaced, and when I get the film developed I already have prints from the trip and get a CD for facebooking. I mostly shoot aperture priority anyway, so it's a plus for me.

Glad to see we have a few other film holdouts here, and using some old equipment to boot (an Argus - wow!). Here's one from my 1933 Rolleiflex, uncoated Zeiss Tessar and all, on Ektar.

I may have had a bit too much fun this afternoon driving around Coralville, pulling over, and snapping photos. I figured out that my telephoto really likes f/8. I also set the white balance to Shade and exposure comp to -2/3 stops. I didn't tweak the color at all on my computer.

On the plus side, my photos are starting to have clear subjects now!
