I'm at my girlfriends place, and their router died and they needed to get a new one. They got a new one--Belkin N150 Wireless Router, Model F9K1001V4, WPA/WPA2.

I can connect to the router. I can connect to the internet via another router (someone with an unprotected network), and I can connect to the internet via a hardwire from the router. But I cannot connect wirelessly through the router.

I have tried to get into the router through the standard Belkin IP address (192.168.2.1), to possibly try changing the channel, and I cannot get in.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Have you tried a factory reset on it?

I had a hard time connecting to a wireless router, once. I was still hardwired to it from the initial setup; I had to disconnect that cat-5 to get the wireless to hook up.

You normally cannot access router settings over wireless; you must be plugged directly into the router.

You'll need to log in to post.
