Oh, I forgot until just now. The rigging is a bit sloppy (on mine anyway). The main sheet is the only control of the mainsail which in downwind conditions allows the sail to billow and flop a lot. I added a downhaul to the boom which allowed the sail to keep it's shape better. Some stainless screws tapped into the mast and boom and some 1/4" line, add pullys and stir till you get the desired result.

I just saw this ad yesterday. I need this like I need another hole in my head, but I keep thinking about going to take a look at it anyway. I like the axe handle tiller - that is the GRM way to go about it.
KyAllroad - mine actually has a downhaul that catches a jam cleat on the lower mast.
General update - I finished rerigging it tonight and stepped the mast to check the mast rake. I wasn't originally going to replace the jib sheet or the backhaul on the main, but the nice folks ar riggingandhardware.com sent me some extra 5/16 line, so now every line on the boat is new. Bearings greased and tires/wheels replaced, and trailer completely rewired with new lights. Also added two front cradle boards on the trailer to keep the bow from sitting on the tongue.
It's been steady work in the evenings, but it's fun stuff. Can't wait to get it on the water. I hope it actually floats....
TJ - buy it. If you think the axe handle's great, wait till you see my block and line that attaches to the roof rack on the tow vehicle to facilitate single-hand mast raising while still trailered.....
