Cladding materials with flammable core is illegal in America, for buildings greater than something like 45' (because firetrucks can reach short buildings).
This is tragic and so unnecessary.
I get really funny looks from colleagues when I insist on a hotel room less than 12 stories up as most fire deparmen s don't have ladders higher than that.
