yea the more you race the cheaper cars in that region get.

This is what you need to do if you want me to put GRM stickers on your car as well. Gift it to me, I fix it up, and then I gift it to you.
I don't know when I'll have time for it, but I'm interested in an enduro run on the Ring at some point. Say 10 laps or so? I'd like to get 7 others plus myself who are interested.
I'd be game for an enduro around the ring... I'll probably get creamed, but if i can stay off the wall for 10 laps, it will be a personal triumph.
I was running the ring for quite a while this weekend.. wasn't really paying attention to my gas levels, as it has never been an issue in most races. My B700 E30 M3 made it about 4 and a half laps before running out of fuel.
I just picked up forza 2 now that my roommate has a 360. I probably won't sleep tonight and soon i'll check in to take part in some challenges. woohoo!

Man, ain't it great? I'm thinking of picking up my own 360, so I can play online. The roomie's got no problem with my playing on his machine, but he's a serious Halo fan (and pretty good at it!). We both work nights, so he's usually on his killing spree until 2a.
An aside to the GRM Forza2 regulars...learn me some braking! I tried turning the ABS off, but without feedback I lock `em up a lot. I turned it back on (just the ABS, not the other Seldom Helpful Interferance Technology), since I've just been fooling around offline, but I'd sure like to reform my Bob Costas-assed behavior before I start running with you guys.

the key is to to train your finger to only squeeze part way. I started with about 1/2 squeeze then kinda worked up to lockup from there. What sucks is that the cars have different lockups and you have to train your finger for each one.

ROFL! I bet it changes when you change rubber size too, doesn't it...whoever invents force feedback pedals for consoles is going to make a fortune.
For the moment, I guess I need to turn the sound louder & listen for it..thanks for the tip!
Changing your brake pressure will help as well.
A good base to start with is 90% without ABS or 110% with ABS.
Adjust by 2-5% up/down until you find your perfect setting.
Does anyone have a copy of the transmission calculator spreadsheet?
I can't find it online anywhere and my gearing needs some serious help on some of my cars.
Hmm Tiger Woods has taken over my xbox, I've recently been sucked into Golf in real life and on the xbox.
You don't need a calculator. The graph in the game gives you a pretty good idea where each gear will leave you. I usually leave gear ratios in the transmission stock (but I'll opt for the close ratio box) and I only change the final drive ratio (and I use real-world gear ratios).
Just go "test drive" your car and you can manipulate them while you're driving (after you pause, of course).
You'll need to log in to post.
