Pick a car and if I have it I'll gift it to you fully prepped. I have most that are available but no Celicas

I have an Isuzu that's pretty much fully prepped as a backup. Mainly just want a Celica right now.

I'm not real worried about it. I've got two days to get something going. Wasn't planning on having the tweaking done just yet anyways.

I'll certainly put out a cry for help if i need it, though! I appreciate the offer!

damn you haha I was gonna use the Celica but thought, i'll use the Isuzu since most wouldn't pick that, something different...

The SBC took forever to tune but the MX5 was just a...pop, lock and drop it. haha

I have a TA22. That the one you want? Not sure the prep level

^Yep, TA/RA22 or TA40/RA40, whatever they've got in the game, looking for a first or second gen. I'll take it if you're not using it, not worried about prep level, it's been frustrating waiting for one to show up in the used dealership.

Yea, looks like you tuned yourself in to left field... I would try mine or go back to defaults. Try big bar in the front, no toe on the rear and soft(er) springs on the rear.

We gotta be friends before I can send it to you... it's "Orion Metallic". I used it for the Japanese Classic A-Spec events. So it should be pretty ok, but not fully done up. Plenty of playing left in the car.

In reply to BradLTL:

Big bar in front will promote understeer. I want less understeer. I'll try your settings and see. I think all my settings are consistent for reducing understeer. I settled on my spring rates based on the bumps in the hairpin at last week's track. Any stiffer and I got a little bouncy around there.

I've found the suspension settings in this game don't exactly mimic their real life counterparts.

Case in point, set a CRX up exactly like mine, it wouldn't lift off oversteer for the life of me. The real car would rotate on a dime with those settings.

Try the big front bar, you may be surprised.

I don't have a wheel setup so I assume nobody else does.

ahhh, well, I wish I had a wheel I use my middle fingers lol

A wheel would make those stoopid X2010 challenges a bit easier

Yeah it would.

I'm thinking of throwing a practice room up if anybody is interested. Just select me on the friends list and it should show it.

How in the hell do you use your middle fingers?

I have no wheel, either. Didn't stop me from dominating the old GT4 tournaments.

Tried it. With that setup I can drive straight into every wall. There is way to get the car to rotate other than the e-brake. I like it better the way I had it, but I will play around a bit more before Wed.

ummm the triggers on the controller.....that's it!

Oh, no problem either I can race everything fine but with those damn X2010s it is VERY hard to control without a wheel

Right thumb for brake and gas, left thumb for steering, right middle finger for shift up, left middle finger for shift down.
