anyone else looking at the S15 Silvia for GT? It can't muster the power (~450ish) but it can definitely make weight! :)

If I am correct, the S13 and S15 are both very popular in the drifting crowd. GT is just trying to make some of the most popular cars look the best.
Is there a premium AE86? If not, there probably should be.

The S15 is 1200kg even (after adding ~150kg of ballast) and perfect 50/50 weight distro with identical HP, but much less torque...
my other option is the mustang GT at about 1310(?)kg and with 548hp, 588lb/ft of torque... it seems to have more trouble hitting 200mph than the S15 does though (SS7 is the first race)...
Take all the other bolt ons off the Rustang and put the supercharger on, it's what I did with my Challenger.

I did that. that's how I got to 548... I can get close the other way (no SC) but the torque REALLY suffers... maybe I will try it that way for this race, then sc it for the twisty courses...?

Nope, you pick a car and stick with it from what I understand. You can change, but that gives you a DQ for the race IIRC.
I may just go mustang then... it's ALMOST as fast... I guess I need to try out the Camaro SS and the Challenger too though... I think the Challenger is a bit porky, and the Camaro still a little too heavy compared to the mustang (assuming all three can make very near the requisite power)
