FYI... as I found from previous years, a small flywheel fits in a flat rate box if you don't mind the teeth sticking out.

It's like secret Santa, but with car swag and no religious affiliation. It's that wonderful time of the year when the garage pixies rifle through all the crap they've accumulated for projects they sold 10 years ago, stickers for race teams that don't exist, and other broken dreams and squashed hopes. Then they stuff them in a festive flat rate box and ship it to some poor, randomly-selected forum member who has no idea what to expect. It's like not knowing if you're getting gifts or coal in your stocking because it has nothing to do with whether you're naughty or nice.
You might get an intake gasket for a BMW you'll never own, or the exact unobtanium part you've been searching for since the Nixon era. Who knows?

The best explanation. The best part in my opinion is passing on the useless gasket to the next guy to see if he has any better luck with it.

34 entrants so far, and the e-mails are still coming in! Lots of repeat offenders so far, and a pretty good serving of newcomers as well. This should be a good one.

Also, I just want to give a bit "thank you" to everyone who makes this game what it is every year. You guys and your shenanigans are beyond belief! I'm relatively sure that if the postal service caught half a wind of what we were doing to them, they'd shut us down immediately.

I'm probably in, but pretty much all my worldly positions are in storage. I'll wait till the end of the week to ransack my storage unit and see if I can gather up enough swag to make it interesting before making a decision.
