I am 67% certain that I know who mine is going to. Mailing it out today, though I am not really sure how long it's going to take to get there.
This is fun! Thanks Bill!

Need to pick up my box today, and I'm hoping to get it shipped tomorrow, depending on whether or not I feel the need to stop at the Hammer Store for a few more throw ins. Pretty sure I've figured out who the recipient is, but unfortunately I don't have much junk specifically relevant to their fleet. I have a few items in mind that should be pretty universally useful/useless, although I haven't even started collecting the pile yet, so who knows what other treasures I might unearth!
When we send out the package, is it acceptable / discouraged / encouraged to indicate who the package is from (by screen name?)?

Optional. It's completely up to you (the sender) Being 100% anonymous is also acceptable if that's how you like to roll
It's all just for fun
One box scheduled for pickup tomorrow
FYI with pirateship.com you can save a couple dollars, print the label, and schedule usps pickup in a matter of minutes

I tend to make up aliases. I've been both batmobile Jones and Not Mickey mouse.
In reply to Patrick :
I have a few of them Quick Performance stickers. They sent me a shirt too- the back reads something like "we're tops in rear ends".
Dropping my victims box off as I type this...
Edit: Only 22lbs. Now I'm irritated. The large box was substantial smaller than I thought. I had to leave out a couple items which would have set the unofficial record for weight.
My box came today! It arrived from sunny Ocala Fl, a place I have only been to for horse stuff, not car stuff.
Unfortunately the post office delivered a wet box with a torn corner. I have to assume our mailguy was dragging it behind his minivan through the snow.
Anyway, lets open it up. First thing is a nice letter from the sender.
Then we find a knuckle slapper with my sender's screen name.
Next we have a couple CDs from Foo Fighters and Spocks Beard.
Balls and Knob! Giggity....
The ever important 10mm. This will promptly be added to the Chumpcar tool kit
Some awesome art! This is going to live on my office desk.
A trouble light that will be installed at the shop where we board our horse because the one there just died. Perfect timing!
An awesome assortment of Hot Wheels. The packaging got wet thanks to the USPS but thats ok. I take them out anyway. The Ford Van is sweet and an inital favorite.
Some switches and an emblem to stick on the toolbox.
A pile of sticker that I am going to pass on to my nephew to irritate my sister. Cause Im evil that way!

And finally, a sweet Honda cub, a few what feel like momentary switches, some magnets my wife will likely claim as soon as she sees them, and an air fitting.
All in all, I would say this is a pretty good haul with some useful stuff. Thanks Shadeux!!!!
With Jim Nabors humming in the background, this box is going to a new home in Indiana. Be there Monday.
I thought my duct tape was overkill, but jeez, without that I think the box would have spilled open.
Note to self: Next year the box will be impregnable.

Duct tape on a box like that is a challenge to most mail carriers. It's like the matador's red cape.
My box left for KY yesterday. An even though this is like my sixth time participating, I've still never remembered to add a nice note or letter. [shrug]
Headed home after 10 days of Christmas at the in-laws. Will pack up the box for my (un)lucky recipient this weekend.
Box acquired and gathering started. I know exactly who I got but Not sure how to really personalize it. Should be out monday.
I found a medium flat rate box in my mailbox today. No pictures of the opening since I was boring and just used a box cutter.
First out, a bunch of socks (and rags).
Next up:
Inflatable Australia hand (nice!)
A remote
Extension spring
Serial to USB adapter which is handy since I always lose them
Neat quick adjust wrench
SS cable tie to add to the collection
V-belt
Digital tire pressure gauge
License plate
Bag of what used to be points and some other brackets I assume from a distributor
French distributor (I assume from a Renault)
Electronic ignition conversion kit
Unknown electrical things in bag
Unknown seal
Genuine Nissan spark plug
Tape measure with LED light and earplugs
Familiar looking LED interior lights
Capacitor
Unknown part (from distributor?)
Genuine Toyota wrench
Leakdown test adapter?
Bottle of Blue Away
Another distributor
Audi keychain with helpful reminder
Unknown part
Label for an axle seal that must go to the unknown seal above
Bottle caps
And of course, stickers!
Definitely some cool stuff in here. I went back in my email from previous years to see who I sent to and now some of the things that look familiar make sense. Thanks!
In reply to EvanB :
I think you sent those bulbs to me a few years ago.
The unknown part is, I think, a fuel pressure regulator from the Renault 8. One of the dizzies came from Wayslow and his Renault parts stash. Some of the other stuff was from Daemon. And some of it was from the rag bag or the garbage can, lol.
That electronic distributor conversion does a Renault 688 engine with a Bosch dizzy or a 914 with a Bosch.
Package away, due 12-31.
I got the box taped up with the last of my reinforced tape and then saw what I forgot to put in... Hopefully you don't have need of a 6" section of newish fuel filler hose. I also hope there are not more parts rolling around on the floor of the car, as I repacked in my lap while my wife was at an appointment.
Matthew
I'll admit, mine probably isn't going out til like new year's day, but the people playing long with our home game probably know why.
I got a box today. I've been holding onto something for a while, realized I'm never going to hang it up, so I'm sending it onwards! Now I just got to figure out what to stuff around it to fill up the rest of the box.
You'll need to log in to post.
