I'm glad you and your wife enjoyed the box. I was a little worried that it was going to get stuck in Detroit. Thankfully it got routed through Grand Rapids instead and made it to you.

You are correct. The GM parts are from the 90 GMC donor truck. And the Chevy steering wheel horn button was from the APV (unfortunately the entire wheel wouldn't fit in the box). The Pontiac key is from the G6 that became the APV.R. The BMW badges are the originals from my first Challenge car, a 1988 BMW 325iS. So no stalking, just luck. I didn't figure out who you were until after I'd taped up the box.

The remaining badges are extras that I've saved from various junkyard cars. I'm glad the gloves fit. And enjoy the goodies. I got a bunch of them from a trainer at the gym (of all people to give away bags of calories, lol).

Oh, and the "Remove Before Flight" keychain is kind of special. It was a promotional item for the launch of the RS3-G1 tire line that I helped engineer. All of the sales guys got them and I managed to snag a couple of extras.

I have received my package, but being a man of honor I will not open it until I've sent a box to my victim.  I have my stuff, but haven't been able to get to the post office during business hours to get a flat rate box. I think I can get there today, should be in the mail by the end of the week!

Checked the tracking on my package as I sent it last week and it still shows in limbo, I mean transit, I guess that a good sign.  Here's to hoping it can make the trip I could have made in 9 hours for about $50 in gas within a few days more than they promised.

I hear ya, shipped mine before the New Year and it's still in limbo.  It was going literally an hour away

Meanwhile, Tony's arrived 4 days early after going clear across the country. It's a crapshoot.

Same here.  Mine arrived three days early.  Wonder if there are any storms screwing things up?

My highly inaccurate bathroom scale says 14+lbs should be out to North Carolina tomorrow morning.

I got a kick-ass box via USPS yesterday from the gracious Mr. logdog, and because I am a man of dishonor I decided to open it despite having not sent mine yet. (This weekend, I SWEAR)

this thing was weighty. 14.2 lbs to be exact! Secured with Lemons scented duct tape. Despite his sharpie'd sentiment it hasn't actually made it to my garage yet. Let's dig in!

It's..another box! Turns out LD had reinforced the postal service's wimpy cardboard with a full liner. Prudent when shipping over 14 lbs of goodies.

under a top layer of red shop rags and two awesome license plates, I find this. I thought I was the Packmaster, but damn dude, I bow down in your general direction!

...and the layers just keep going!

what a spread! A for real window net (cool, I have plans), a full roll of genuine Radio Shack speaker wire ( smells like memories), a Funko Pop that makes me crave slim Jims, a set of (electric?) guitar strings, a well used pipe wrench, a whole collection of kick ass stickers and a Lemons Rally patch, a very cool bottle opener ( I collect those) a wiring power lug, my very own SVX,  line wrenches, a manual on how to cheat on the Nextel Cup Series, a recent copy of Evo magazine and tow manuals about front end alignments from Hunter ( a $90 value by the cover prices!)

here's the top layer license plates, a thing I also collect. These bad boys will be hanging in my smoke shack bar as soon as I get the roof on.
I thought the tail lights were trailer lights, but they're not. They have Ford logos and part numbers, but they are rear mount. My next thought was stepside pickup, but the wiring connections are modern weatherpack stuff, so my best guess is some kind of chassis cab or box truck? Also, they're both for the same side, lol.

awesome box LogDog! Thanks so much ! It really brightened my week.

and apologies to my victim. I swear I'll get it going this weekend.

I took mine to the post office a few days ago in Harrisburg PA.  Tracking number still says "received at facility Harrisburg PA."

It hasn't left the building yet  frown

I learned the hard way to reinforce USPS boxes.  Its like they drop kick them across the sorting facilities.

Couple pieces of trivia, the Evo mag was bought while I was in England awhile ago as plane reading material.  The Ford tail lights came in a box of parts I got with my CJ5. The window net was used on 3 different Chumpcars before it expired.

Im glad you enjoyed!!

I'll echo the comments about the flimsy cardboard boxes and the care usps seems to show. The first year I played, the contents of the box I sent were delivered in a basket because the box disintegrated. Good stuff. Rico, you still have that basket?

I do indeed still have it. It's actually holding the more useful items I've received from this game through the years.

Can't seem to find a picture on my phone right now,  might be in the 2016 thread, but I was impressed considering the shape the box arrived in that there was only something small that didn't survive the trip.

Bombs away! I received mine recently, and as a man of honor, I have held off. Outgoing on the left (get ready, Snohomish!) and incoming on the right. The incoming is fairly bare and a bit mysterious (tracking says coming from Indiana) plus HEFTY at over 30 pounds (side note to self, inquire about my chiropractor's current practices during pandemic) but I got it upstairs without catastrophic failure. The outgoing needs moar tape, but that will have to wait for tomorrow before shipping out.

Hoping my box made it intact to South Dakota now, it was about the same weight.  I used a LOT of tape though.

Ah ha, wrong "camera" folder.

Unedited, untouched picture of how it arrived. Pictures would have been on my old website storage that doesn't exist anymore. Looking like it got stuck in a wheel well or something, but it did arrive.
