My box is ready to go and I'll get it to the post office sometime this week.

Glad you like it. The random block of weird shaped rusty metal I tossed in there for weight is a grinding fixture I made a few years ago in tech school. Seat came out of a Tonka truck I bought for a random project. Fuel filter was originally ordered for a Saturn SL but I ditched the car before I put it in. Solenoid was pulled off of the non running Yamaha atv I just got, no idea where it came from but it wasn't supposed to be where I found it.
Work has been hectic, I need to get in and pick up a box to fill (I have majority of the goodies to fill said box already). Should pick up the box this week (should really grab 2 so I can have a head start for next year) and then should be out early next week, may scour my shop space this weekend again for more goodies to go as well.

Is there something special about the nut-drive with what looks like a broken bolt wedged into it?
My box is mostly packed, but I've been busy, and lazy. I have to ship something else out tomorrow, so I'll make sure to finish packing my box and ship it as well.

Oh yeah. That was a tool we made at work one night when somebody lost the socket adapter for the drill. Cut off bolt jammed into the socket we needed. Came from the same place the catalog did.
Flight canceled Monday morning meant one more mail delivery before the business year begins. And lo and behold, It's a BOX!!!
Let's start by opening in a controlled manner. Oh, this will be good!
And then I became a child and stopped taking photos and just starting opening and touching everything. So let's group the bounty. Stickers, cars, treats and smells goods
Tools - a wrench set minus the 10mm, but three 10mm sockets to make up for it. A really nice multi-tool, snips, a nifty light, handy 12v adapter, impact driver, large carbiner
Car parts - Dodge emblem, Toyota MR2 air intake, a Mazda bolt, an unidentified emissions part, a Toyota (!) plastic dish that I can't place the origin and a misc cone.
Awesomeness from the cool era - a Pontiac puzzle that brought back a happy memory of my grandmother's Catalina, a 1985 Nintendo game cartridge which will be added gleefully to the period-correct items we have with the 1985 Celica when it goes to shows, a heat-sensitive Pac Man mug and a small Pac Man machine which will also reside with the Celica and the Nintendo cartridge.
Yes I did, very much! Thank you, Tony! Made our night opening it and going through everything!!

Glad you enjoyed the box!
On the car parts:
-The emissions thing is an underhood purge valve from a Mazda 3 with the MZR engine.
-The Toyota thing and the MR2 throttle body adapter were a re-gift from a few years back (center cap?) and I figured they would have a better home with you and your sweet Celica.
-The Mazda bolt is a Mazda 3 5AT transmission drain plug. That emblem came off of my Power Wagon, so now you own a piece of it!
The retro stuff came from my stash. Make sure you hand wash the mug, as the dishwasher will destroy the heat transfer print on it. Ask me how I know. Oh, and the Pac-Man arcade tin has candy in it! Cool that they will get used for display pieces at shows! And I'm glad you like the puzzle!

You knucklehead, you're supposed to send it to a GRM forum member, not a box store!

Box is packed, will mail it out Friday morning. It's gonna be awesome!!!
I found out that I lost my receipt and can no longer track my package. It should have been there by now though

In the trunk of the Cramit!!
Your vote does not count because calling it a crammit is stupid.

Ok, mine is off to Portland! Due in Saturday in a pink box from last year.
(Note to my victim, I reused my box from last year with a bunch of pink duck tape. They shipped it fine, but warned that since the flat rate markings were covered, the other end may attempt to collect more shipping. If so please reach out.)
Just dropped my box in the mail to Minnesota! It filled up fast with a few bigger items vs. more smaller items, but hopefully the recipient still has some fun.
You'll need to log in to post.
