Oh my gosh, I was paging through the 1989 copy of cartoons that I received in my gift last night (as you do). Back in 1989 apparently they couldn't make toons about anything other than emissions tests ruining the car hobby.
It says it comes with a lift out poster. Let's check that out.
Wait, what's this!?!
Is that a DON GARLITS signature?

I should be able to pick it up Saturday.
In reply to Robbie (Forum Supporter) :
Oh man I loved CARtoons when I was a kid. I keep hoping to find them at local vintage toy stores.

I see a couple of regifts that came from me. Does that piece of corrugated have a label on the other side? Is it my favorite auto part "bark caliper"?

Poop King !
Someone clue me in. Is poop king a legacy? I wanna keep it, but I can't if it's been around the world and back, and I KNOW I've seen these show up in boxes before.
The Poop King is legacy. I think I got it from Indy-Guy and held onto it for a couple of years before sending it on again.

The exhaust Port covers are Dodge NASCAR pieces from the early 00's, the fuel pressure regulator is from a Holley blue fuel pump, the silver disc that you propose to make a cat toy is actually a slicer from the plant that makes the cloths for Clorox wipes,
Thanks for clarifying those!
Also thanks again for giving me some ballast for my box.

We do, because that's just how we are.
How broken? Is it rusty? Is it for sale? What color is it? Does it have MUD FLAPS?

Guilty. I sprinkled a few bits from you last year, including the Bark Caliper.

Blown turbo, may have electrical gremlins. Been parked since 2015. Suffered a minor flood, has run since then.
Not rusty at all. Garaged most winters, now in Florida (obviously). Black. HAD rally armors. I think I still have 3/4. One went missing. Needs love. Not currently for sale.
Shot fired to WaynesWorld, PA. I'm not sorry Andrew.
EDIT: ETA Tuesday. Receipt does not give weight sadly.

Oh boy!
Sent a box west toward UT today. Expected delivery on Tues.
The box I received was absolutely chocked full! Lots of unpacking; all the foreground cars were inside the paint gun.
Thanks Shadeux!
Oh my. Not one but TWO boxes o' crap arrived on my doorstep today. I'll set aside some time tomorrow to open them!
I sent out one large box o' stuff, not expecting to *add* to the overall volume of stuff in the shop!
Finally getting to share the particulars of my box. Been without power since Wednesday morning. On generator back up.
Some neat stuff in here from Mesa, Arizona. I will definitely find a way to incorporate the C7 engine covers on my C3 build. Not sure what to do with the Mustang shift assembly however. Wall art? The 85 promo is now at school in my classroom.
Thank you!
Went with a flint knife this year:
first up some scotchbrite immediately claimed by Mrs. preach.
then, who doesn't like stickers!
The creep was real. Yup Porsche cars!
AN stuff, washers, zip ties.
a nut of usual size for me.
more miscellaneous-ness.
two cups one wrench pounder shirt.
did not creep my torturer but thank you sir!
Well, my box is packed anyway, but I can't get to a post office until Tuesday.
I apologize for the delay in sending out this little bundle of disappointment. It will be off to Ohio as soon as possible.

Barefootcyborg5000, looks like one of us gets a package on Tuesday. Unless, of course, we have a third UT person, which would also be cool.
In reply to matthewmcl :
Third would be cool. I mean, We have a couple on the borders, AZ and CO, but still.

We've now got two people with two boxes. Color me confused.
You'll need to log in to post.
