Now that we are all (mostly) stuck at home, I thought it would be interesting to see if we could do some group video chatting. This could help with some of the social isolation, or give us someone to talk cars with other than our long-suffering spouses. I use Zoom all the time for work and have a Pro account, which I think limits me to 100 meeting attendees, so I can try hosting one to see how it works.
We could try different times, days, or even topics, Shop/Challenge car walkarounds, etc. It is nice to put faces with screen names.
EDIT: More info
If you don't already have Zoom on your phone or computer, you will be prompted to do so. Once loaded, if it puts you into a test room, just come back and re-click on the link posted. It should bring you to the room.
Download Zoom Mobile Apps for iPhone or Android
Download Zoom Client for Meetings
I'm going to login with my Screen Name/Real Name so people know who they are talking to.
Sweet. This would be totally fun. Dunno if I can make tonight, but would love to join one.
I'd be down, though won't be in a position to show off anything fun for a bit
Same. I have no idea how this stuff works (borderline neanderthal) but im willing to try!

I'm a definite maybe.
But in any case, do I need to download an app or will it work in a browser on my phone?
In reply to Stampie :
It all depends on your camera angle.
In reply to mtn :
Yes, you will need to download the Zoom app. I'll see if I can post a link in the OP.
I'll try to make it, I will definitely wear pants if I do.

Zoom, like WebEx works via browser or via apps available on various app stores.
Go to the website/download the app and sign up, then configure it. Once OP is ready, he'll publish the meeting ID/link and you can join up.
I had my first Zoom experience the other day. It more or less works like Skype or Teams.
Oddly enough, I just installed Zoom on my tablet so the Boy-Spawn could remote into his guitar lesson- we wound up using my wife's laptop, though, so I don't know if it will work for this.
I'll give it a shot, though.

I just finished a Zoom chat meeting with my MINI crew. It worked pretty well. Although I'm now a bottle of wine down and I'm having trouble typing (and walking).
Working on getting it set up on my end.
Still going on, you should be able to get in.
I would, but berkeley if I'm putting pants on
