We likely have some of the same contacts in knowing your role within Napa, I worked with ATI until recently. It's going to be a difficult few months for shop owners and car counts are going to be down 20-30% post recovery from this, there's some tough sledding ahead within the industry.
Thanks for all your input on bass guitars last night everybody. I've got a better understanding of what to look at/for when I can finally leave my house again.
Bummed, I tried to join and waited forever to be let in the room. Finally gave up and went outside to see that huge moon.

Sorry about that. I tried to get everyone in quickly and sometimes it seemed to take a couple of tries for it to work. Hope you can make the next one.

I'm a hired gun consultant, but in five years of working for them I've met a LOT of cool people. We probably did cross paths on a project if content was involved.
I would but I have to work.
I am also wondering now that GRM has there "official" Zoom meeting, that is pay to play, if this will go away.

I don't think this chat has to go away but I'll take my cues from the GRM staff. I was more doing this from a sense of just trying to foster some connection during this lockdown period. I'd love to do more project/shop walkarounds like Mike did with the Q45 and I really enjoyed the Bass discussion the other night. Overall I just want to make sure that those that join get a chance to be heard.

I thought 914Driver was the gun consultant.

I completely agree with you. I have some serious philosophical issues with the whole pay to play thing but I am going to take it up in a privet letter to the GRM staff. I think it is best not discussed here on the forums. (It is not all negative by the way)

I missed it. I didn't know GRM had a patreon site too. I'm slacking lol

I'd be up for that.
I am usually up pretty early so even though I am on mountain time an early coffee time chat would work for me.
If we need topics i can easily show off my one and only street car. It isn't much to look at but it does everything from preschool duty to solo nats. I know it isn't the most interesting car in the world but it is a unique, affordable, thoughtfully modified sleeper.
Mostly I just listen, though...
