Six degrees of separation - one of the drivers featured in GT Racer is Neil Twyman, the restoration specialist I met at Goodwood while oogling his custom Ferrari 250.
That is the best Italian XKE I've ever seen. What year was it modified?
After watching the first season, it further cemented my belief that it is just awesome to be obscenely wealthy. 
I hope when I retire a rich old fart I can build a race car and rub elbows with the hoytie toytie (?) on one of these rallies.

From what I recall, the car was built from an old 250 GTE which had long ago been wrecked and abandoned and in pretty sorry shape. The car was re-created using a mix of genuine Ferrari bits and components hand made for the car, and the project was completed within the last four or five years. The top was designed and fitted this spring.
