I’ve taken a set of laps in both the street and the tuned car. The most significant changes seem to be a more emphasis on weight transfer / corner loading and tire contact surface. I managed to loop both cars. I wasn’t able to put together a clean lap in the street car (yet) but my first set time in the tuned car ranked 444th out of how ever many thousands playing around the world. Sadly, I am almost exactly 7 seconds off of 1st.
The other thing that I noticed is that the driving line in the game is slightly different than the line used by the F1 guys. I am going to try to use the F1 line and see if it makes a difference...

Can I assume that his demo only has the Indy track and two cars, is there anything else to it?

Currently ranked 296th in the world... still have some work to do.
Wish I could get teh intarwebz in my room (besides the wireless in my laptop). My PS3 doesn't have wireless and the only other way to get a connection would involve a lot of conduit and Ethernet cabling.
Anyone here have any suggestions? I'd only be going online to get updates, DLC, and demos. Anything other than a wired connection would be too laggy for online gaming.

You sure its the world? I think its just region, as in North America. I am currently 8th, about a second out in each car. VERY close to 4th place, though. We'll see how long that holds up. LOL. Would be ecstatic to finish in the top 10.

Might be... although I downloaded the Japanese version of the game, and the top 10 shows all nations on the list. Being outside the overall top 250, I don't show up on any of the web lists... guess I just need to go faster.
8th is hugely impressive. I am just hoping to finish in the top 100 for both cars!
