For all of the other bohabs out there:
http://www.gwar.net
I'll be at the Atlanta show on Dec 6th if anyone else happens to be attending such a fine and prestigious event.
i was wondering how they were going to do it without Oderus.. this answers that question:
Oderus is missing. Once the Scumdogs in GWAR finally notice this (it takes them a while to notice stuff) they will set off on a journey to find their departed brother using every resource available – including recruiting an ancient Scumdog warrior. GWAR will need the help from everyone, even the lowliest Bohab, as their enemies are plotting to take advantage of the hole in GWAR‘s ranks.
Balsac the Jaws of Death said: “Dark clouds of war and ill omen have gathered around GWAR. In our hour of greatest peril, Oderus has left us and our enemies stand poised, ready to strike while they sense weakness. But we shall no longer cower in our Antarctic stronghold, awaiting Destiny’s final blow. This Fall GWAR sets out on the most trying quest of our career. We shall scour our leader’s favorite stomping ground, North America, leaving no city unsearched, no venue unraised, and no sheep unmolested. GWAR will venture to the depths of Hell or to the very end of Time itself, and though I fear what we may encounter out there, I know that we can never return home until we have the answer we seek: ‘Where is Oderus Urungus?’”
that's ams metals... except for the sheep part..
I am conflicted, because I will be in St. Pete that night seeing Skinny Puppy, VNV Nation and Haujobb. I may get GWAR tickets, park in Lakeland and just hope one or the other starts real late, though.
I will be attending the MA date for 2 reasons. 1) Life of Agony. Never saw them with Keith/Mina only with Whitfield Crane. 2) My friends in Acaro will be playing their final show.

I may have to go. I owe it to the guys in Acaro.
Plus, Unearth is playing, AND I've never seen Gwar. Life of Agony is playing too? Wow...
Creepy Randy will be there too...
Sexcellent.
Oh, and GWAR B-Q was awesome. They were ill-prepared for that many people, so I was pretty much standing on one line or another for half of the time I was there, but the line up killed, and so did GWAR. And killed, and killed, and killed...
Got my ticket. Also in the queue: Judas Priest, Slayer/Suicidal Tendencies/Exodus, The Toasters and The Melvins. Sadly D.R.I. conflicts with SEMA. I'm bummed about that one.

Saw suicidal tendencies last year and they were great
In reply to David S. Wallens:
I must have seen them on a bad night. They came through MA with D.R.I. & Cro-Mags a few years ago & both my friend & I were left very disappointed, & this was his favorite band but now he refuses to see them again. Mike spent most of the set just rambling on about E36 M3.

that's what Cyco Miko does... he gets off on a tangent, and he will ramble on and on... i've seen ST live twice: opening for Queensryche in '91 at the Target Center in Minneapolis and supporting the "Prime Cuts" album in 97 at the First Ave club right across the street from the Target Center, and i'd say that while they were good in 97, they were just flat out better in 91 since they had the best lineup at that time (Rocky George, Robert Trujillo, RJ Herrera (i think...), Mike Clark, Mike Muir) and they just shined in that huge arena... i've seen youtube videos of them playing in the last 10 years or so, and it's just not the same- i got into them in their metal god years, and i just can't get into the funk/punk vibe i've gotten from them lately even tho the Infectious Grooves is just awesome..
I saw them a year or so ago with Mike Clark's band opening, and that was a really good show--great energy, great setlist. Before that, I saw them twice in 2010--here in Florida and then a few days later in New York. (Happy birthday to me.) Yeah, let's just say there was a bit too much dead time between songs.
Before that, it was several years ago. I saw them open for Megadeth, too. I'm guessing that was '93 or so. ST sounded okay. Megadeth killed it.
First time might have been the best. It was '89 or so at the Masquerade in Atlanta. I think the floor was a giant pit. Still a fan.
how did i forget that i also saw ST in 93ish with Megadeth... they were awesome then, too. saw them in a 5000 or so seat arena, and while the mosh pit was crazy for ST, as soon as the opening riff of "Holy Wars" started when Megadeth came out all the folding chairs on the floor (they had those out back then for some reason...) got thrown into 2 piles and there was a figure 8 mosh pit that went around the chair piles for all of Megadeth's set.. i was up high, so i had a good view of it all.. good times..
i really do need to see GWAR, tho... they are one of my bucket list concerts, but i don't really follow the music world enough to know when anyone's coming around any more..
In reply to gamby:

He was the original Beefcake the Mighty, and intermittently played him since then
did anyone see the Viking funeral they had for Oderus at the GWARBQ in person?

Speaking of Suicidal Tendencies, sad news from their camp: http://www.notreble.com/buzz/2014/08/27/in-memoriam-tim-rawbiz-williams/
