I gave out candy from about 6:30-8:30.
That's how I prefer to think if it, anyway. Since we had zero trick-or-treaters, this just means I ate mini Almond Joys for 2 hours.
All in all, not a bad Halloween.

I wrenched in the shop on my Bronco while my wife handed out candy. She was not super happy that I ditched helping her answer the door.
No kids at the garage door to the shop, probably kept away by the smell of 3 year old gas getting blown out of the gas tank. Phew!
My youngest daughter told us a couple months ago that she wanted to be an RV for Halloween. I'm not sure what put that idea in her head, but thanks to all the cosplay experience we have, my wife and I whipped up this on Monday night:
Had about 250 trick or treaters at our house.
My neighborhood probably has 150 houses in it.
I think there are about 25 kids total in my neighborhood.
It was fun and I got to dress up as a race car driver!

Nice! I'm in the same boat - my son is not quite 13 months, so he was tearing around the neighborhood.
This is the first year we've been in a house where people actually trick or treat - we didn't get a ton of kids, but it was really fun.
We don't get trick or treaters here, the density is too low so all the parents truck their kids in their store-bought Disney costumes into town to get more loot.
I went to Denver, bought a guitar and had a good steak dinner. The couple at the table next to us said they were dressed up as two old people going to their favorite restaurant.
My 16-month old daughter was a Turtle for her second Halloween and her boots squeaked like squeaky toys, it was awesome.
We went to a friend's school parking lot where she works as a teacher for their "trunk or treat" where the teachers all setup their trunks in the school parking lot for trick or treating. Her Grandma and Great-Grandma were visiting from California and joined us. Then we went to dinner at an uncle's house and did a little more trick or treating in his neighborhood.
A good time was had by all on the very first dry Halloween in 10 years in the Portland area.
15 years ago when we moved into our house in a great big neighborhood I was fired up for our first Halloween. I bought $50 worth of candy. We had 2 kids.
And 15 years later we have reached a grand total of 2 kids. I think it's because our street is a short culdesac off the main street, and there are no sidewalks anywhere.
I went mountain biking while my wife watched Halloween movies.
