My Halloween candy buys fall into 2 categories:

What I like/wouldn't mind being "stuck" with,

What comes in small "serving" sizes.

My favs are the miniature Reeses cups, and Tootsie Roll Midgees. This year, however, I found Tootsie Roll Pop Drops and got a couple of bags of those. You get about 20 little bags of candy in the bag and inside are 3 or 4 cough drop sized Tootsie Roll Drops (think a Tootsie Pop, but without the stick). I've also started looking for candy that is peanut free...I'm not allergic, but some little kid might be.

actually, this year we are giving out some non food items - bouncy balls, "silly-bands", those plastic vampire fangs, spider rings, and some sticky eyeball looking things. This was the wifes idea. I wonder how many sticky eyeball things I will be peeling off y windows on November 1st
