For the Accord. It's getting a radio with an aux jack. I wish to have a device which allows me to talk on the phone via bluetooth, stream music to the stereo, and have text messages turn into voice and visa versa.

Does this exist?

Thanks

i'm not sure if its got all the features that you want

but they make bluetooth adapters that are built into a 12v charger which are microphone/speakerphones that plug their output into the stereo's aux jack.

I think the text messages to voice is going to only be an app function on your phone. Same converting voice messages to text.

The $90 Panasonic head unit from the above-mentioned thread is pretty good, especially considering the price. Since it's on my motorcycle, I can't really speak to how it operates with talking on the phone, but everything else is awesome with it.

When it comes to reading out texts, I think your best bet is to have that as a function of the phone. I know there are some Android apps that do that and most of the newer Motorola phones have the Moto software that can be configured to automatically announce texts when it thinks you're driving.

I mis spoke.

I have a head unit that I am putting in which has an aux jack.

I wish for those things to talk to it via its aux input.

I'll investigate the text apps.

Oh!

I've got this thing called a GoGroove FlexSmart X2 that might be what you're looking for, then. They have an updated model available, but I know that the one I have can connect to the phone via Bluetooth, giving you call buttons, a microphone, and music player control buttons. It then talks to your radio via FM (which is always a chore) or, you can use an AUX-in port on your radio instead. It also has a USB charging port.
