That's OK. I am.
Happy Canada day. I hope Will Smith saves us again this year. Those aliens keep getting tougher.
I celebrated Canada Day by helping a friend leave for retirement in Canada, after almost 30 years in Texas. We said our sad goodbyes early this morning. FlightAware has her plane about a half-hour out of Newark right now.
Thank you for letting us borrow her. We're returning her in good condition. Please take good care of her.
BTW, she has a house in St John's, Newfoundland. Wonder if we can find ANYTHING FUN TO DO when I go to visit, say in September of next year?

Even without THAT St. John's is a fun place to visit. Actually, all of NFLD is a terrific spot to vacation, as long as your ideal vacation doesn't include lounging on beaches.
That's what I've been told. Honestly, the terrain, the ocean, and the history all interest me. I suspect the problem will be choosing between many options while having time to actually catch up.
I was supposed to lose my job last year due to a plant closure. The plan was to take the summer off, and ride my dual sport through the east coast, and all around Newfoundland. Stupid company gave me a job in a plant closer to home.

ROFL! That Molson "Export Ale" (the stuff with the red labeling) has always been one of my favorite mass-produced brews. Back when the SCCA Runoffs were in Atlanta, the CASC workers would bring cases of it. We'd trade racing souvenirs (Daytona & Sebring T-shirts were always popular) for the stuff.

ROFL! I'm from the east coast (NC OBX), never thought of it as anything other than a "square rigger". You're right, though..when I do that, I see it.
