I've had a lot of projects over the years but none this rewarding.
My son made this video as a gift for me out of old Super 8 footage. All of the shots are me as a child (and my family).
Though the shots are not transferable, the sentiment is, so I am sharing it with each of you:

Yeah, something terrible happened when I stopped wearing saddle shoes. 
A bit late, but I got to bring our first home yesterday. Mom and Baby are doing great, baby needs to gain some weight since she's a little early, but we've got it under control.

A couple of great cars in that shot- but that's not a Simca.
It's a 1962 Renault R8. My mother won it on a TV game show.
You had me there for a second- my wife grew up riding in Simca which she always talks about, and for a minute there I thought we might have grown up together or something.

LOL I was thinking Renault at first, but it looked a lot like a Simca I test drove in the 60s.
