Happy Thanksgiving to all on here. Also, I listened to Alice's Restaurant on the way over to my folks place for brunch with my wife and boy does Arlo ramble on and on in that song .

I never understood the appeal of Alice's Restaurant. I figured DJs played that so they could take a break and not have to keep changing records.

…As we speak, I’m visiting family for Thanksgiving…the guys are in the backyard drinking beer (ops, tending to the turkey in the BBQ), the women are in the kitchen (no guilt, I front loaded my contributions) and I’m on the computer checking work e-mails while watching the news on TV.

Buzzed guy just walked in from outside, looked at the TV, said “is the game on” changed the channel to the game, grabbed another beer, and walked back outside.

Thank you all for giving me an alternative place to be.

19 people fed, house almost back to rights, enough leftovers to feed the family for a week. It was a good day!

Most of you guys have probably passed out by now, but Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your families! I am thankful for a lot this year, including having a roof over my head, great and supportive friends and family, and lots of hobbies to keep me busy. And thanks to you guys and gals on here and at the GRM headquarters for being awesome!
