I'm trying to find a set of "Euro" bumpers for an Alfa GTV6 and here in the USA they're needle in a haystack.
They're not that uncommon (or desireable) over in wrecking yards in UK/Europe areas.
Any GRM members in a Euro zone that can help me out, or anybody with experience shipping items like this internationally? Success stories or reasonable cost shipping companies?
Watching.
Shipping from Europe to the USA is pretty cheap compared to us shipping over there. I was quoted $250+ to ship a fender to Italy but they can ship it to me for $90. The problem is finding someone willing to ship. I am camped out on ebay.co.uk looking for bumpers for my Triumph but not one of sellers of the dozen sets in the last month are willing to ship internationally.
International shipping from the UK is actually rather expensive, which is why most UK sellers don't do international shipping. Well that, and bad experience with selling abroad...
I just bought a 32 page book weighing about 20oz, shipped from NZ... it was something like $20 for the envelope to get here in 20 day slow boat form.
I imagine a skid full of engines would be more painful than someone could profit from or all those sexy BMW euro headers, oil cooler housings and sweet aero bits would be readily available for me to buy at a reasonable price.

Just need a set of these
Everything about that car is breathtaking. I love the wheels most however.
