Yep, War on Women is on the bill.
I saw him last summer. Just fantastic. One of my favorite shows ever. What gets me is how calm he looks.
My wife fell in love when he mentioned that he would have "slit that berkeleyers throat" in reference to the guy who killed Cecil the lion, but that's another story!

We saw him a month or so ago, and it was full of wow. This footage is a few years old, but you get the picture. https://www.youtube.com/embed/XnreN5LsjvQ
I just went to a ZOSO show in San Diego. They were a great Zeppelin tribute band.
Being born in 76 I never had the opportunity to see Zeppelin live, so that was the best I could do. I thought they did a great job. The sound was great and even visually they did a great job replicating Plant and Page. The drummer, who looked more like Dave Grohls than Bonham, was able to rock Moby Dick.

Two words, and it rhymes with poon-tang.
I reached a point 10+ years ago where I just can't do a cover band anymore. I get bored with it too easily, and really don't enjoy hanging out in bars until 2am, before loading/hauling/unloading a ton of gear. Particularly when ~$300 seems to be the max pay for most local small bars.
I do have some friends who make good money in cover bands - check out Captain Rat & the Blind Rivets - but they've been doing it for ~30-years, and have an "act" of sorts to go with it. Another friend was in an AC/DC-tribute named AD/HD and they made bank, but it was also hard work & constant gigging.
I'm much happier playing a 30-45 minute set of original/mostly original music, and getting home at a decent time.

I'm not sure that's got anything to do with playing in a cover band. I think it's called "trying to make a living as a musician".
