Considering I can rent a unit from United Rentals for a day for $1k give or take including having it dropped off/picked up, your hourly rate should be around $200/hr 4 hr minimum to make it worth your while. And you should get insurance and get damn good at running it before consdering renting it and you out.
My wife is always a bit slower than a lot of people like when operating any equipment. But she had NEVER hit anything!
Unimpressive to some, prolly. But I LIKE old cool equipment, so pictures are heartily requested!
Since my one ton single wheel truck can tow a 12k 5th wheel all day long, and has towed a 4000 lb dump trailer with 15K pounds of dirt in it for 15 miles, with no white knuckling, (or having to change my pants!) you can tow it no problem. Just keep speed reasonable, and allow extra braking distance.

I think $200 is a bit high, but if a 1 min search found that, it's available cheaper.
