A big step was taken in my house remodel, functioning indoor plumbing!

Couldn't find a Fergason, so I went with Kohler. Yes, there will be a sink, yes I know the drawer ain't gonna work...

You should do the right thing and make that drawer work. Even if it is a really shallow drawer, I swear it will come in handy!

I put the little hinge down drawer fronts in front of all of my sinks. Helps keep clutter clear. In the kitchen, it holds the dish brush, scouring pads, etc. In the bathroom, it's a good place to hide tooth paste and toothbrush. Wife keeps some makeup in there as well.

+1. I use the double-action latches from Kitchen cabinets to make them pop out a bit. Under the bathroom sink it gives easy access to the garbage can.

"fergason"?

I should say not. Clearly you mean "Ferguson" - specifically

Turd Ferguson

Haha. I work for Ferguson for the next week. Good choice with the Kohler. The rep came by and showed a demo. That model can take 7 pounds of fruit salad at once! Kinda sick, but kinda cool.

That ain't no hellaflusher.

This HERE is a hellaflusher.

BTW, Kohler is nice but nothing beats a Toto IMHO.

Thanks for the comments everyone, not many car forums would support a toilet thread. I had planned some sort of drawer mod, just haven't though it out yet. The toilet isn't low, it's a standard 15". Chair heights are 17 or so. The widebody kit and taller than stock cabinets make it look low. Yeah, Toto makes a great unit but not in the gray I wanted.

Wally, thanks for catching my reference.

I just think it would look better if you could lower it enough to get the roll center underground. That'll make it handle better. Maybe cut the springs.

Proof that there's nothing on earth that doesn't have a web forum:

Behold: Toilet enthusiasts!

I learned alot here researching what to replace a pair of 1949 American Standards with in our old house. We ended up w/ a Toto dual-flush in the 1/2 bath and a Kohler Gabrielle in the main bath. Experience eventually lead us to gravitate toward the Kohler for heavier duty deposits...
