The Dodge Hellcat Demon needs a special tune, race gas, drag radials, a prepped track and ideal conditions to lift the front wheels under acceleration. So what? My Bolens can do it on year-old gas and wet grass baby!

I do that with my mtd. Best I’ve done is about a foot off the ground. Almost tipped it backwards pulling my impala up to the garage
why did this take so long ......oh that's right there's stuff to be worked on..... not yard wheelies...

When stuff takes precedent over yard wheelies, you've got your priorities out of whack.

Ok you two, now I've been shamed into resurrecting the wheel horse GT2055 sitting 'out' back thanks......
Wheelies were totally what sold me on the Wheel Horse I bought this spring, since that's obviously the most essential function a lawn tractor should perform. Unfortunately, it's never been able to consistently run well enough (or at all, much of the time) to do much of anything, including popping wheelies.
Snapper Rear-Engine Rider checking in...it's basically a Porsche! Or at least that's what I tell my Carrera-owning neighbor
Both my older international cub cadets happily did that. 3rd gear, full throttle, dump it and wheel lift. Or trench, depending on where the tires were.
if I had a dollar for every time I got yelled at for doing wheel stands as a kid.....The 100lb steel bar bolted to the back for extra traction when pushing snow helped too.
I might have broken the cast iron front axle on a Cub 123 once or twice in my life.
Them old Kolhers really wake up with just a touch of grinding on the cam.
My brother used to wheelie the old Ford scraper tractor. One day dad came home and the front axle had mysteriously snapped in half.......
Ok, I'll be "That Guy".
The Demon is not a Hellcat, it's a separate model. Hellcat-707 hp available as either a Challenger or Charger----- Demon--840hp available only as Challenger.
The Demon comes with DOT legal drag radials, and has tunes installed from the factory to run on either 91 octane, or 100+. It doesn't really need "ideal conditions" to lift the skinny front wheels and tires that come in the $1 optional "Crate" package. It does however need ideal conditions (and a great launch) to do the 9.65 1/4 mile time it's capable of.
The one I want is the Challenger Hellcat Widebody---- it has the flares and wider stance of the Demon, but with "only" 707hp. It's equally at home at the strip, out to dinner, or at a track day. It will also do 195mph, and costs less than $80K.
But your mower does a higher wheelie, and cuts grass better!
