Guys, I am trying to remember what uses a large spring loaded J-hook to hold something in place. So to use it you would grab the hook, pull and rotate it out of the way.
Any idea?

The jeep hood latch is close but think a J-hook that would hold a welding cylinder in place or golf bags
So the jeep latch with larger hole for holding
Pipe spring support with a thread rod and you get your J hook modified to mount to it?

Or HVAC equipment uses 'spring isolators' http://www.grainger.com/category/ecatalog/N-1z0dev6?gclid=CLjP3v3m5ckCFQ2OaQod1nEPZQ&cm_mmc=PPC:+Google+Main+1--Dynamic%20Search%20Ads--Safety-_-_inpage:safety&adgrpID=3147712823&kwdID=&ef_id=VcoItAAABd-dGLaU:20151218161440:s
Think the spring isolator but with a J hook on the end instead of the standard threaded bolt.
I am trying to remember the application and I can't.
It's kill me.
So the J hook holds the cylindrical shaped thing. Then when you want it you pull the J until it clears and then rotate it out of the way.
Something like this maybe?
I don't think it's exactly what you are looking for, but it could possibly be modified.

That is the idea but I thought it was for retaining air tanks or golf bags or something. Maybe it was ladder holding on a truck.
You guys get the idea.
