Lit - My Own Worst Enemy, circa 2000 or so. I remember because I had the CD in like 6th grade (terrible band in retrospect, IMHO).
Ah, memories. I had a friend in college, trained singer and all. He would bellow/sing that particular line (drunk- DRUNK) at 2:30 AM whenever some girl (either his girlfriend or any other random one) was giving him a hard time about being drunk.
Yes, terrible, terrible band, but for whatever reason, that song is one of those that makes me think of a specific time and place.
I often have luck by dropping an entire phrase like in the original post into Google. Almost always have good results even if I butcher the lyrics...
Dont go round tonight, its bound to take your life, theres a bathroom on the right...
...pour some shook up Ramen...
Sugar fried honey butts, you know that I love you!...

CCR is one of the worst offenders for misheard lyrics. John Fogerty's gravel mouth is impossible to understand sometimes.
"Stuck in an old dryer bin" puzzled me until I GOT the internet, only then did I realize that "Lodi" was a freakin' TOWN.

LOL! Good point.
"John Fogerty... the original grunge-mumbler..."
yeah, yeah... I know... there are plenty of others...

I've been there many times. My oldest friend lived there for a few years and it is definitely not a place you want to get stuck.
