In reply to G. P. Snorklewacker:
Thats the idea. There are aftermarket, bolt on lighting systems but they don't allow for any mass customization. The idea is to allow the user to determine which system (bracket) fits there needs. The one above is the biggest, most versatile, and least attractive (IMO). Someone building an old Harley or Triumph would likely choose the version that is really small and discrete.
Lead the industry, lead the way, mounted on the front of the bike...
Forefront.

AnyRack
NETrack (pronounced AnyTrack)
but don't listen to me. I named my new business PedalTrash
In reply to ultraclyde:
I am not certain on your suggestion for me (I will think on your direction though), I freaking LOVE PedalTrash!
Partly, I am not certain I want to box myself into strictly the bracket for a name. Maybe I am over thinking this.
Yes, I would not box yourself in as a company name.
Some of the suggestions like OutRack could be a good product name. Example: OutRack by Forefront Industries.
Is there a current product name?
Please, for the love of all things holy....
Make stuff for the big Italian adventure bikes.
There is next to nothing for the Stelvio. Stucchi Luigi makes a bit of stuff but I've already bought all of it.
We need a toolbox that will fit behind the rack on the right side of the bike. this space is taken up by the muffler on the left side but nothing on the right. I've got a tool tube in there right now but there's still a lot of wasted space.

Agreed! I like Rout or rout for the company name.
And for product - since you have various mounting brackets - then I could see something like this
Discreet Rack / Discreet Bracket
Small Rack / Small Bracket
Nice Rack / Nice Bracket (almost like "hey, nice pants")
Big Rack / Big Bracket

Yo, I think this is the one that seems to fit the best from all that I've read so far.. Forefront, 4Front, whatever. Headlights and new methods to travel with bikes.. you're on the Forefront. I think that flows off the tongue and can easily be identified as being for Motorcycles. simpl makes me think of a a hipster clothing store, honestly.
Current working names (in order from largest to smallest) are:
Max Adventure (shortened to the Max)
The Dirt (Much smaller, only one crossbar, fewer holes but still some adjustment and mounting options for tools cases, Go Pro, turn signals, etc...)
The Street (Bare bones, crossbar will have one row of mounting holes and the side plates have one way to mount. Meant for the cafe/scrambler crowd).
In reply to JohnRW1621:
I can see what you are getting at here. Definitely a possibility.
In reply to Trans_Maro:
Sorry buddy. Specific bikes are not our bag. We want to make something that with minor tweeks can be used on lots of bikes from the last 40 years. We took looks of measurements and the bracket I posted will fit 99% of bikes made in that time frame.
Also, key point. We don't make the lights. Those are LED Hella shop lights I got for $70 shipped and they kick ass. There is basically no way to get into that market without huge cash and lots of tech.
The Max Rout
The Dirt Rout
The Street Rout
From Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rout
A rout is a chaotic and disorderly retreat or withdrawal of troops from a battlefield, resulting in the victory of the opposing party, or following defeat, a collapse of discipline, or poor morale.
A routed army often disintegrates into of "every man for himself" or sauve qui peut as the survivors flee for safety. A rout often results in much higher casualties for the retreating force than an orderly withdrawal. On many occasions, more soldiers are killed in the rout than in the actual battle. Normally, though not always, routs either end a battle or provide the moment the winner needs to win decisively a battle (or even campaign).
The opposite of a rout is a rally, in which a military unit that has been giving way and is on the verge of a rout, suddenly gathers itself and turns back to the offensive.

Thanks. It actually came from a Harley biker I know referring to himself as 'scootertrash' which I thought was hilarious. When I decided to formally launch my custom cycling wear biz, it had to be pedaltrash
I actually like Rout, especially the way it works with the different model names.
In reply to ultraclyde:
That is one pricey thong!
If the products will be made in the US, some general reference to that in the name might generate some warm fuzzies. Nothing overly local, like BamaRack, that might not appeal to regional boosters, sports nuts, etc.
Yes all in house designed and manufactured products will be made in the US. Not sure how to include that in the name. It will be posted on the site though.

I like 4Front. Double meaning and simple yet should be trademarkable.
In reply to KyAllroad:
I am a little worried about 4Front because motorcycle company

Got it. Only unnatural sexual innuendo can be used.
