It depends on the office for Mac/PC. I have a PC in my office because I'm used to PCs, and they will run all the CAD stuff I need. Mac is almost a necessity for the tech booth because there are a crapload of free apps that are production-related that are not only the industry standard, but they have zero equivalent in PC... paid or free. The current Artistic Director uses Mac in her office because A) she's used to it, and B) she does all the graphic design for our pamphlets, playbills, flyers, show posters, etc. Executive Director had a PC because his job is making money, so he uses powerpoint, email, and other fun office productivity things.

With the smart TV comment.... are you saying that you just cast to the TV instead of HDMI? If so, that's a no-go for me. Casting has lag and I have no way of synching audio and video for video productions. Likely fine for daily computing and spreadsheets, but see "artsy-fartsy" comment above.
