Our schools shop has a roll of pre preg carbon fiber and a roll of pre preg fiberglass that we have to use up in the next 6 days. We are going to make some carbon fiber dart fins. I was thinking of doing a carbon fiber Honda logo. Other ideas. The carbon fiber roll is about 2' wide and the fiberglass is about 4' wide.

Key chain, humidor, gear shift knob...maybe wrap a stainless flask or thermos with it.
Shift knob, battery tie down, Dash Din blanks, pen/pencil cup, foglight blanks
Or just ship it up to me...Id really love a 4" roll of pre-preg FG for my composite col air intake Ive had on the back burner for the better part of a year
Im sure I will come up with several other great ideas for it in about 8-10 days
EDIT:
DOH JX beat me to the knob...
x2 on the toilet seat. I'll buy one from you!
Kozies built up with adjacent layers of carbon fiber and 'glass. Existing molds abound, "functional", shows how to join the two together, and a reminder of your class. Shoot some clear gelcoat, and you're golden.
Or, to show parents what they're tax dollars/tuition is paying for, what says it more than carbon fiber napkin rings from engineering students? (Hey, I'm trying here.)
And I can image the parents face when the student says,
"LOOK what I learned how to make!!"
Why in the next 6 days? Forget the expiration date, save it and use it for non structural parts like dash boards and body parts for the school's race teams.
I will buy whatever is leftover when it expires. Or you can give it to me, and I can pay the shipping.
How much do you have?
In reply to JFX001:
You need to let a humidor breathe, and it needs to hold temperature well. Spanish cedar is just about the best material for humis, so why change things up?
I could use a carbon fiber laptop case. Maybe a carbon fiber athletic support?

Didn't some guy do a cf spoon? Would be cool to do a whole set. I'd pay (a little) money for one

Then you simply line it with Spanish cedar, American cedar, or Honduran mahogany. Do a search, they make them.

A carbon fiber toilet seat would be the be-all end-all.

Because we have five freezers full of the stuff and their are still two rolls still out. Since they are not in the freezer, the resin will dry up in 6 days.

The Air Force might buy some
Yahoo, wrap a fender! Re-do your dashboard!
I use prepreg for the evacuator cans on the 120mm M-256. It's that big can in the middle of a tank barrel. It holds a low pressure area as the round passes, then as the pressure equalizes it sucks the fumes and smoke out of the tank rather than the other end.
When my stuff date's expire it cannot be used and disposed. I dispose of it in the manner prescribed by the Feds.
Youbetcha.
Is it thread or mat?

duct tape holder perhaps. magnetic parts tray?

Cover a paper weight, or a door stop. Something that's meant to be heavy.
Toilet seat and locost fenders are equally good ideas.
If nothing else lay it up as flat plate or 90 degree strips. You can then find many uses for it in the future for making block off plates, simple tabs and many other projects.
