Alright, one of my coworkers burnt an RCA socket on a sound board he uses for the boy scouts and asked if I could help source a replacement. I'm having trouble. Anyone have any leads on parts for a board? It's a 4 socket, 6 contact PCB mounted RCA like this. This problem I'm having is that the one he has is vertically mounted instead of right angle. Can the hive shed some light?

That's peculiar.  I just looked at three pages of jacks on Mouser, and didn't see any that weren't right angle.

Yeah, I was a bit confused. I may need to figure out what unit it is and go there...

In reply to iansane :

It would be good to know more about what happened.  It seems unlikely that the damage is limited to just the jack, since they can take a good bit of current.  I'd be concerned about the attached circuitry.

Oh, looks like an rca connector broke off inside and someone mangled it trying to remove.

It's a Harbinger LP9800 mixer board. I shot an email off to their tech support. We'll see if they respond.

I've always just replaced stuff like this with generic parts.  Get some panel-mount generic RCAs, cut out the special proprietary 90 degree  stuff, and solder wires from A to B.
