I’m sorry if he’s being thrown under a bus undeservingly but at least I won’t have to suffer through countless food sector analogies…

“Being the leader of the free world is like preparing pizza dough”…Um, Herman, no, no it’s not, it’s actually wildly more complicated than that and the ramifications of mistake are profoundly more severe.

Maybe Mittens has to go out and harass some women. It worked for Clinton.
Well, I'm sure there is dirt from his democrat days

Mitt was a Democrat before he was a Republican.

Mitt was Pro-Choice before he was Pro-Life.

Mitt was in favor of Obomnycare before he was against it.

Damn. No wonder the Republicans don't trust him.

Is that better or worse than being a community organizer???

sorry RX, we already have a government rife with this sort of thing.

Thats why they don't pass small, tiny bills that are understandable when attacking a big problem.

they want us to believe we can solve a problem in one bill and try to damn anyone who doesn't sign onto a massive bill with extraneous stuff on it as someone who isnt serious about solving problems.

It doesn't matter if its Obama telling people to sit in the back of the bus, or Cain (who has not made any) pizza analogy.

Cain being a pizza CEO doesn't bother me.

Cain being a lobbyist and a Washington insider does.

They are BY FAR the largest percentage.

They're all just part of the "Democrat Machine". They're in cahoots with the lame stream media! Out to ruin Herman! With all the conspiracies against Republicans, it's amazing how they keep getting elected! It's almost as if none of it is really true. Almost like Herman really did all the things those women said and the media really is full of journalists who make every effort to be unbiased... oh, that's just crazy talk!

In reply to racerfink:

In Eddie's defense, Cain did make the allusion that the media is a cog in the Democrat apparatus.

However, it is a delusion to think the media doesn't have a double standard when reporting on politics.

I'll leave it to Mr. Cain to try to put things in people's mouths. I watched the man say on television that the "Democrat Machine" was behind this, even though the accuser is a registered Republican. Not putting words in his mouth, that's a quote. He said it right before he attacked the accuser and implied that she had mental problem. Right before he warned us that there would be more accusations like this and they'll be lies too.

Depending on one's perspective, it easy to view the media as part of the "Democrat Machine".

The media reported his accuser as a "registered Republican", but guess what, Illinois voter registration doesn't acknowledge (or require) party affiliation - http://www.elections.il.gov/downloads/votinginformation/pdf/r-19.pdf

That's another example of either incredibly woeful journalism or an attempt to influence those who see/hear/read the report.

Sounds like splitting hairs to me. Oh, it's okay to pay them tens of thousands of dollars in response to the claim. Doesn't prove a thing because it's an agreement, not a settlement. If they had just asked the right question, Mr. Cain would have given the right answer!

Having a law degree is one thing.

Having a job handing out money to congressmen in exchange for influence is another.

You make it sound like handing-out money for influence is worse than taking money and providing influence.

It's Congress' responsibility to create the laws that lobbyists must adhere to. If lobbyists are slime, politicians are the fecal matter on which the slime covers.

Almost every Republican member of Congress has signed a pledge to a special interest group resigning their decision making ability on taxes before a bill has even been introduced, and they advertise it like it's a good thing. Hard to complain too much about lobbyists.

Until you can prove they have more loyalty to that pledge than their pledge to uphold the Constitution, ya got nuthin.

Well, except for a lot of angst and an opposing political ideology.

You would think that the 'Democrat Machine' would at least wait until after Cain wins the primary before they spring this on him. Doing this now just gives the Repulicans a chance to regroup with another candidate. On the other hand, if Rick Perry's guys have something on Herman, the time to spring it on him is now, especially since one of Perry's guys actually saw Herman harassing a woman. Allegedly.
