Hey guys, just got an account here so I thought I'd say hi. Been reading the magazine for a while, as well as these forums. I autocross a '91 MR2 in E-Stock, drive a crappy '88 MX6 during the winter, and I am on Lehigh University's FSAE team. I'd like to do the Challenge at some point, but being in college makes it unlikely, though I'd help out with a team if there's a local one. Now, off to get my post count up!

Well, howdy to a Lehigh guy. I left South Mountain behind in 1986. Not coincidentally, one of my roomates and friends there was the late Don Shroeder, tech ed at C/D for a number of years.
Sounds like you've got a great start! Nice to see you aboard.
Welcome to the nuthouse, seriously this place is a treasure trove, be seeing ya in Gainesville
Treasure trove of insanity, that is. Welcome to the funny farm!
Are you the guys who built that carbon-fiber racecar and auto-xed it at Hershey a few years back?

I used to live on the north side- Center Street, overlooking the campus.
First love was a Lehigh girl. Didn't end well, but a nice school anyway.
Welcome aboard!

to confuzion: If all you remember was carbon fiber, it was probably the Lehigh car. I was still in highschool last time the team got a car out to an autocross, so I couldn't tell you for sure. We're the only team to do carbon in what I consider the "grassroots" style. We make a giant sheet and fold it to make the chassis, meaning that the whole process is a lot cheaper. And, the car only weighs in at around 340lbs.
That was it. It was pretty cool.

Welcome aboard the boards
Is that the car with the flex joints instead of rod ends on CF control arms?
