How about if everyone quits E36 M3ting on Frenchy? He's done more with his life than a lot of us have or will. So what if he repeats the same lines over and over? Don't like it, don't reply to it. But don't be an shiny happy person about it. That doesn't look good on any of us.
I generally don't have a problem until he starts making up his facts. I don't want future searchers thinking they're real.

This. And even not-so-future researchers.
If the guy states a general, subjective opinion, I have zero problem with it. Often, I even agree.
It becomes an issue when he generalizes his own, highly specific experiences into universal truths.
I agree and I hope I've already been successful at this.
It hasn't been easy, I can be the most sarcastic shiny happy person you ever met, but I've been working on suppressing that for years. Working in a corporate setting gives me plenty of practice.
I'll admit, it's been stuff like this that has largely seen to my absence.
