Got some branches that need cutting and was wondering if anyone had recommendations on electric pole saws, probably for very short use.

Yup. Works fantastic. Not enough torque for really hung up stuff though.
I picked up a manual one at Lowes Depot a few years ago, and it's a godsend for all the trees that hang over my house. I think the brand is Fiskars.

Do you know which brand? My HF flyer lists more than one...

Same here, have used a few times with no real issues.
I had a YARD MAN brand corded one, not from HF, but went cordless when Black & Decker had a crazy Amazon sale on 'naked' cordless tools. The plus to that is my leaf blower, pole saw & hedge trimmer use the same batteries.. Standardization is nice.
Quality on both seemed the same, really, aside from the chain on the China saw. Quickly replaced with an Oregon branded chain as I quickly wore the original.

This one: https://www.harborfreight.com/95-in-7-amp-electric-pole-saw-62896.html
I got it when it was on sale for $50-60.
My wife bought a corded Worx one. I have been somewhat pleased with it. It is a bit heavy on the end when fully extended. Hard for an old man to use.
Have the corded HF one. Abuse the E36 M3 out of it. Chopped up the roof of an addition we tore off with it through the asphalt and nails and all and it keeps going and going. Sharpened the blade after that and it just refuses to die. It's not the lynx one, its the cheaper gray and green one
We got the Lynx battery operated pole saw and the Lynx battery chainsaw. The pole saw really kicks butt, use it to chew through buckthorn brush stumps along and trimming branches with no problems. The chainsaw is a bit underpowered and doesn't seem to cut much better than the pole saw actually, once its loaded up it bogs down quick and the battery drain goes up too. I'd skip the chainsaw and just get the pole saw, really our most used tool outside.
