Excellent news Captain! OEM parts do tend to hold up better in the long run. Let us know what we can do for you.
That is great news. And its Friday afternoon, but it is an awesomely great day. I may even take some vaca time.
In reply to Dr. Hess:
Yup, tuna steaks, 2 boneless skinless chicken breast, limited leafy greens, up to 1 cup of brown rice a day, and some synthetic shakes (ugh) for the past 12 weeks.
Did I read your post right that the tumor shrunk SO much that you went from a liver transplant to just removing the tumor???
If I read that right, that's really awesome!
Good to read that you are in great spirts!
In reply to alfadriver:
That's correct, they took a good bit extra as well. The magic size was 2.5cm, it needed to be below that to avoid the transplant and hadn't measured smaller than that on the ultrasound since July. Above 3.5cm and they weren't sure the transplant would've been a viable option.
There might be something in that brown rice. Actor Dirk Benedict claimed it cured his cancer. I saw him on TV talking about it in the 70's. My wife has brought many critters back from the edge of death on a diet of brown rice.

That's just incredibly good news! I hope the recovery goes well!
Keep fighting!
Best news ever! Its not every day you get to kick cancer in the balls hard enough to save another person, too!
Excellent news!
I bet the guy next to you was thrilled that you had the self control and determination to kick that tumors ass.
