I can't stop making them. Even made one for Mrs Sper And yes, those are fries made from the grease.
You make it sound like there is something wrong with it.
A man can live off BLTs , brats, and burritos.

Now hold on a minute der, buddy. I did not see any Bratwurst or Polish Sausage mentioned in your little statement. Coach Ditka would not approve.
You're probably 2 weeks off the end of your life for each of those bacon grease fries, just so you know

You sir make a good point. I'm sorry for my failings and will amend my statement to include such greasy goodness.
I think you need to realistic with yourself.
Deep down, you realize that the bread, the tomato, the lettuce... those are just excuses.... excuses to get the bacon.
The first step to a cure is admitting you have a problem.

I don't even bother with lettuce; it adds nothing to the taste. However, I like whole wheat toast and I love tomatoes; adding bacon is just magical.
And that reminds me; I haven't made a BT sandwich for several months.
We've recently gotten addicted to bacon apple swiss grilled cheese sandwiches. That halves your healthy fruit/veggie to meat ratio.

We grew up with BLOT's...there was always an onion involved. I think that the lettuce is used mainly for a bit of ruffage, while the tomato should be included...you know...for inspiring healthy eating habits.
