I know that we have discussed this, but i can't find tge threads.

The acr should be radio delete. However, i hate not having a stereo. So i want to do hidden for the correct look.

Prefer hands free calling and Bluetooth. Im fine with additional anps, etc.

Cheap is tge name of the game. But good sound quality us important.

Link to the thread, or suggestions?

I put a nice head unit in the glovebox of my Elky and run it with a remote I keep in the ashtray. Dash is completely unmolested.

The remote also runs a CD changer under the seat, and an amp behind the seat.

This thread had a surprising small and cheap head unit that could be a starting point:

I hid mine in the glove box of my ACR, and used a cheap head unit also.

I've seen offroad guys run just an amp with a RCA-1/8" jack adapter. Their phone is the "radio" at that point.

This is what I do in my 'racecar'. I originally gutted it all, because 'grams, yo'. But soon the once exciting engine noise turned to the drone of highway miles... Trick is to find one with a remote volume (not just bass) knob, and run a stealthy switch to trigger the remote wire.

They also have stereos that are the same size as a standard aftermarket gauge. They are typically used on boats, but have almost all the features of a full size stereo.
