It seems the news stations are really stretching to cover "news" and making everything commercial. Heck, our local news station has McDonalds coffee cups placed such that there is always one in view. This annoys me. So, I applaud this guy for taking advantage of it. Only after some digging did I discover it was a prank, though I suspected it from the beginning.

Anyone who has been "embedded" in the various forms of media, and seen behind the scenes what goes on in the production of daily papers, shows, etc., will know a bad fake right off. The Yo-Yo man is both primitive and masterful in that respect. I've been personally involved in several media put-ons, and I'm not really proud of it, but realize it's the nature of the beast..
Believe nothing that you read, and very little of what you see.
Only remember part of this post, for instance..
What part should I remember?
He is much better at the Yo-Yo than me!
The real brilliance that everyone seems to be missing here is that...oh....wait a minute....my dad is calling....
Here by me this "news" story made the real news as this interview was in Wisconsin (Wausau).
The best part is that the interview chick was HAWT, and less than a 120 miles from me.
NOOOO I wanted to watch it yesterday but I didn't have the time now it's taken down! And I could have downloaded it too! T_T
Edit: Oh phew found it:

But I still don't have the time so I better watch it quick and get back to ninja-coding
that's funny.... love it when they get stuff over on newspeople (I used to be one)
I can't believe they let him take his cell phone in there. Serves them right.
