So, I'm going to pick a fight with Delta about a flight delay. I'm expecting them to say it was weather related so they can absolve themselves of any responsibility. Is there a website that will tell me why a flight was delayed, up to 2 weeks ago? The gate agent told me it was because they didn't have a pilot, and there were no weather delays at the airport the pilot was coming from, but I want to head the lie off at the pass if I can.
www.flightradar24.com. Go to Data/History, then Flights History, and punch in the flight number. It will at least give you the historical performance; you may have to pay for more info.
EDIT: Looking but haven't found anything that says WHY it was late on that site....
Might try this if you can figure it out....

EDIT: nvm, only data thru june so far. But its good data~!
flightaware.com is another site with lots of that kind of info on it.

Thanks guys. I'm finding out that it doesn't matter. Delta, or any air line, can say it was weather, no matter what. The Agreement of Carriage says it can even be the threat of weather is enough. And there are countless stories of people being on a plane and being told "the wrong luggage was loaded. We need to unload two planes, re-check the luggage, and load the planes up again." After 2+ hours they were on their way. When the family wanted hotel vouchers they were told it was a weather related delay.
Hmmmm I downloaded a ton of the data off the site I mentioned. There were delays for things other than weather reported to the government....
