Explains why they're shipping fentanyl over to the US by the boatload. Payback. berkeleyers.
If it was payback, they'd be shipping it to England.

Apparently the Russian troops have been shelling the largest nuclear plant in Europe... cause what could go wrong with that.

If you have an hour, This video dated to the prior administration discusses it in deep detail but know it's a well-researched political criticism that needs the first 15 minutes just for setup. The worst thing that (I'm not sure if the video discusses it, or if it's what I've realized in making a new friend in Shenzen) is that I'm not sure how you *stop* such a behavior. Go to war and kick their ass, and you just made the hate worse. Try to friend it away? It could work, but a society that keeps hundreds-year long grudges and hatreds for validation is likely not gonna let them go. We're not talking passive-aggressive, we're talking passive-murderous- and to the things we need to do to really yank the wind out of their sails all come back around to wealth redistribution in some way.
Back to the Ukraine, tho.
EDIT: Anymore Pete, They really consider "The West" to be like a unified 'thing', like they think there's no difference between North America and Europe, but so far I believe it's more a result of propaganda.
In reply to GIRTHQUAKE :
Oh, I kind of get that. Any group probably views other groups as a monolithic bloc with no internal differences. (cultures, countries, political parties, etc)
There's a joke about a man going to save another man's life, and find out that they belong to the same denomination, until about five or six subdivisions in, and then the would-be savior finds out the man in distress is from a different one than his, and tells him to go to hell and walks away...

They're also shooting at the firemen responding.
Remember how we were discussing if putt putt was losing his sanity? This benefits nobody.

Sky News is reporting as I type that the plant is on fire and they're trying to figure out if Russians are going to stop shooting peacebullets at the drug addicted reactor and super nazi fire fighters. Good news, reactor is under renovation and is not active.
No source for this but my grandson just told me that an oligarch has offered a $Billion bounty on Pootin.

"Basically that's wrong."

I would seek to be more like Country C. Obviously it's working. You lose a race, you don't bash in the car coming in second place, you figure out what the winner did that you didn't do, and go do that.but..... they have won many races before by bashing cars. It's just what they do, and I have gotten away with it before.
It's not right, it's not within the rules, but sometimes (many times?), it works.
If you want to win a race against that person, or avoid getting spun off, it would be a huge advantage to be aware of it.

Hoping it's this one:
At first I thought "what does it matter? There are probably a line of Putin's in the wings"
but then I thought: that dude is convinced he's the smartest man in the world. It wouldn't surprise me at all if there wasn't a backup plan

He's spent the last 20 years making sure that anyone who disagrees with him is gone from any form of influence or power, if not life.
It occurs to me that, for those unfamiliar with the Russian brand of power politics, the movie The Death of Stalin might be useful viewing. Heavy satire, to be sure, but quite well done and the events depicted did, in fact, occur. Put another way, the details and dialogue are fictionalized, but the history is not.

Current ruble prices that's less than 10 grand.

They were doing that in Missouri the last time they rioted when a cop shot a kid.
